Trade Deficits Climbs 4.3%. Meanwhile, Wholesale Inventories Rise, Sales Fall

And following up on my last post, HotAir offers this:  After getting good if incremental news on the jobs front this morning from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Obama administration got more mixed news from the Bureau of Economic Analysis on the trade front.  The US trade deficit jumped up 4.3% in January, thanks to a big rise in imports, but exports also nudged upward . . . .

In the same article, HotAir also looks at the fact that wholesale inventories have continued their rise, while sales have fallen.  Not exactly telltale signs of a resurgent economy.
