Why Do We Fall Sir? So That We Might Learn To Pick Ourselves Up.

Last night was, to put it mildly, a difficult night.  I don't really know what to say that hasn't already been said by others elsewhere.  The results were troubling in many respects and, frankly, I have grave fears for the future of this country.  But we have no choice but to pick ourselves up.  How do we do that?  I'm not exactly sure, but I think these two articles are on the right track:

Courage For The Long War Ahead

The Long Game

It's not politics that make the country.  It's culture.  Conservatives/libertarians often overlook that, but cannot afford to do so any longer.

As the name implies, I started this blog with one objective in mind.  Clearly I fell short, but life goes on.  I had debated whether I would continue blogging after the election, in one form or another.  For now at least, I think the answer is no.  I am going to take some time to regroup, focus on my family and my work, and find new ways to fight.  We lost a major battle, but I'm not ready to concede the war or my country.
